A pervert who filmed children whilst exposing himself in various McDonaldâs restaurants was caught out after he was spotted hiding a mobile phone in a food box.
Niaz Ahmed Ali, 59, was jailed for four years for 28 offences of filming children under 13 across Perth, Australia.
In January 2017 he sat across from a 12-year-old girl in a McDonaldâs in Harrisdale, western Australia, and exposed himself while recording her reaction on the phone he had hidden in a burger box.
After catching him in the act the police put out a public appeal for any other incidents and were deluged with information about similar crimes, 9 News reported.
He had been filming children at family restaurants in seven other towns in Perth throughout 2014 and 2016.
Ali, fromÂ Baldivis, Perth, was also found guilty of being a child sex offender in a public place.
He had already been in prison for 16 months for previous crimes when he was found guilty,
A judge told him he will be eligible for parole next January, after serving two years.
He reportedly showed no emotion as the sentence was read out, with his wife and adult daughter in court to support him.
